3 year Full-time, PhD degree + Graduate Certificate in Research and Innovation Management with Centre for Social Impact / School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship, Swinburne University. Research focus: Participatory practice & economic participation in Northern Tasmania.

Leading, facilitating and supporting the cross-sector collaboration and learning needed to achieve the community’s goals, in the context of the evolving Collective Impact process.

Part of a team of facilitators delivering a 2-month Permaculture Design Course (PDC) at the Northern Suburbs Community Centre, including modules on group building, local economics, legal structures and bio-regional analysis. The course is organised by Gentle Footprints Permaculture in partnership with the Northern Suburbs Community Centre, and runs from February to April.

Coordination of two projects for the University - the Jansz Artist Residency and the French Artist Residency. Both programs entail a youth and community engagement aspect. My role has included community outreach, logistics, event management, report writing, financial management and artist liaison.

Coordination of the Northern Office of MCOT, including liaising with member communities, stakeholders and local government in North, Northeast and Northwest Tasmania. Building engagement at local government level with the Welcoming Cities initiative across the wider Northern Tasmanian region. Promoting and building engagement in the state-wide Harmony Week Tasmania project.

Co-design and delivery of a domestic violence prevention programme for young women in Tasmania's Northwest. The programme content included the design and delivery of non-formal education workshops, case management, event management, mentoring and capacity building.

Lead organiser and co-ordination point for the second year of state-wide Harmony Week event. Responsible for networking and liaising with a wide range of partner organisations, helping to promote Harmony Week events and oversee communications.

The SCI Pool of Trainers and Facilitators is a group of experienced international trainers, that designs and delivers training events for the international SCI community. The pool focuses on non-formal education methodologies, peace education and capacity building in the field of international volunteering and European youth mobility projects. My specific skill set includes facilitation and training in the fields of youthwork, non-formal eduction, participatory decision making processes, social inclusion, risk awareness, sustainable development, community development and youth empowerment, as well as grant writing and project management.

3D Trainer Network Ireland is a community of trainers with expertise & understanding of non-formal learning, coordinated by Léargas, the National Agency of the European Commission in Ireland. It specialises in trainings and events within the framework of the European Youth Programme, Erasmus+.

Freelance facilitation role at various events in the youth, volunteering, community and development education sectors. Organisations have included National Youth Council of Ireland, Comhlamh, Cultivate and others.

Overall coordinator of programme of activities for young people facing social exclusion (young asylum seekers, young people in care, young people with a history of homelessness, unemployed young people and early school leavers). These activities included residential volunteering and non-formal education programmes. My role included logistical management, volunteer recruitment and management, training delivery, event management, major funding application writing and reporting, design and delivery of non-formal education content, participant recruitment, liaising with social workers / parents and other key stakeholders, communications, etc.... Many of these projects were organised within the framework of the European Youth Programme and included ongoing collaboration, capacity building and communication at an international level. VSI is the Irish branch of the international peace organisation, Service Civil International.

Support officer for long-term international students from Asia, Europe and Latin America: Sourcing and screening host families, taking into account cultural requirements, offering ongoing support to students with regards to integration, accommodation, welfare.
