I hold a Master of Public Administration at Northern Kentucky University (2021) and currently work to build out the Primary Prevention systems in Kentucky, specifically in NKY, in an effort to support children and families. I’m also an alumna of University of Kentucky with a degree in Community and Leadership Development. I have a passion for intentional and sustainable community engagement, event promotions and planning, and non-formal education. I served as the AmeriCorps VISTA Leader for Kentucky Campus Compact, supporting over 50 VISTAs throughout the state of Kentucky with the TASK (Towards A Sustainable Kentucky) program (2017-2018). Previous experience includes serving as an AmeriCorps TASK VISTA and staff advisor for the Center for Community Outreach, advising the Big Blue Pantry, Beyond the Blue, and National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. I also served as the Director of External Relations and the Director of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.I value the importance of evaluating community impact at every step of engagement and how to do so through education, service, and reflection. I focus on building meaningful relationships with others and ensure that data are collected and analyzed well in order to tell the stories that need to be told. I find joy in educating about social issues and leading workshops on different topics surrounding anything from leadership development to partnership development to diversity and inclusion.
