I love problem solving. In all of the roles that I've had an succeeded in, I've had the opportunity to ask questions, understand problems, gather requirements, and then build, test, and implement solutions that solve specific problems my stakeholders have. I am currently in the market for a role that will let me continue problem solving, building products and features that customers love, and provide me with opportunities for growth.Since joining Collective Health in 2017, I have seen the company triple in size, with all the joys and hardships that go along with that. Throughout my time I’ve helped build a thriving, empathetic customer support organization, a growing second headquarters in Utah, a knowledge management system worth writing home about, Jira and Zendesk instances that actually work for every team, and plans products that rival the best in the world. Given the flexible, flat structure of any good startup, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to follow my interests, discover new strengths, and learn from the best.In college, with my degrees in Public Health and Women’s and Gender Studies, I was always looking at the intersection of the two, writing papers like Advanced Maternal Age and Assisted Reproductive Technology and doing on-campus advocacy for access to birth control. I wrote a business plan for a mobile maternity clinic in rural India and wrote term papers on maternal morbidity and mortality in the United States. One summer I traveled to rural Maharashtra and lived with nuns and attended births, and the next traveled throughout Rajasthan conducting social impact interviews with women that had recently gained access to additional markets to sell their local goods. And in the past year, I have studied to become a postpartum doula, in the hopes of keeping at least one foot in the community-based work that has always filled my cup.In my free time I enjoy scrolling through Zillow, racing through all of the New York Times’ word games, running (and walking!), and seeing as much of the world as possible.
