Grace researches, writes and edits digital content for CitizensInformation.ie, its social media channels and newsletters. Her work includes producing crisis communications in plain English, an essential task during the COVID-19 pandemic.Grace was formerly Homepage Editor at IMAGE.ie (previously STELLAR Magazine and Stellar.ie), where she was responsible for improving reader engagement and maintaining high standards of writing across the site. Her experience includes researching, writing and editing engaging content for digital platforms and their social media accounts, as well as monitoring her team's performance via Google Analytics and Chartbeat.Grace covers a wide range of subject matters; including native brand content, public affairs, health, family, relationships, the environment, beauty and pop culture. Her current and previous roles required a knowledge of Wordpress, Google Analytics, Chartbeat, CrowdTangle and Sprout Social, and she is well-accustomed to meeting tight deadlines. As a trained journalist, she is comfortable interviewing experts for features and stories on-site. Grace is proud to represent her employer at press events and has travelled to the UK and Spain on numerous occasions for this. She is warm, welcoming and professional, and is eager to meet new people and brands. She obtained her BA (1.1) in Journalism from Dublin Business School in 2016 and later completed a six-month editorial internship at XPOSÉ Magazine. Here she learned valuable sub-editing skills and developed her understanding of Adobe InDesign. Grace was an active blogger throughout college, and is still actively engaged with Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook. She is passionate about social media and even wrote her final year thesis on the role of Snapchat in modern journalism.Grace also has some broadcasting experience, having interned at Today FM, Dublin City FM, and Radio DBS. She has some experience in marketing, having completed an online diploma course in 2012, and has a particularly strong interest in social media marketing and advertising.
