My path to advancement has been anything but linear, however, there has been an invisible string leading me through and connecting my experiences - a belief that everyone deserves access to information and quality education and determining how I can apply my skills to support this right.Working in Advancement Services at Rutgers University Foundation, I managed multiple cross-departmental projects, serving as a liaison between Rutgers Health Advancement and other Foundation teams, such as Donor Relations & Stewardship, Finance, and Annual Giving, as well as University partners. This gave me the opportunity to develop skills in and knowledge of the various areas of advancement. I further developed relationships across the Foundation through my involvement in the Workplace Workgroup committee, collaborating on planning special events and running the RUF Book Club.As the Assistant Director of Stewardship Content at Northeastern University, I partner with colleagues on the Donor Relations team to organize, catalog, and gather content to ensure impactful touchpoints for our donors. I'm able to combine my experience in advancement with my masters degree in Library & Information Science to develop a cataloging system that works for the entire Donor Relations team.I pride myself on being organized and supportive, always working to make sure others have whatever they need to complete a task successfully. Throughout my years of working in both school and retail settings, I have honed customer service skills that have proven beneficial in an office space.
