My main responsibility was to manage quality testing of industrial chemicals for commercial car wash and brewery use, including performing titrations and other necessary chemical tests. I also helped develop and execute a dye test plan from pilot batch size through full scale production runs, including entering and analyzing test results and preparing written summaries for management.Another responsibility was mass data collection and entry to create Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) accompanying sold products and making sure all the necessary and relevant information was present. My final responsibility was the design and formatting of shipping labels with required OSHA warnings and information for sold products.

In the Chemistry Department at the University of Rochester I was in charge of the inventory of incoming chemicals and creating accurate labels and records ensuring safe use. I also organized and managed the timely delivery of ordered chemicals and mixed solutions to support course schedules and various labs throughout the entire chemistry department as well as the management of the chemical supply area without supervision throughout assigned shifts.
