MY hard skills are computer I have done computer from Primary School level and one again in University, management as I worked with people in my side hustle and my minor in management in my degree, communication gained during my current Attachment at NLC, research and analysis gained from the project I did during my Diploma on Ethnicity, driving class BCE, negotiation gained from practice in school.My soft skills are time management, adaptable, leadership, flexible to move to field work and travel, team worker as I have worked with people in groups in schools attended and church, planning and organizing this am good at naturally and throughout have sharpened my skills by planning for trips, planning my work etc., interpersonal skills am good with how I relate with people and USIU has also allowed me to interact with a diverse community.I have also gained a skill on how to form an organizational and work on a project with the organization. Which as result we as a team of 8 students formed an organization called Kuking’a and we did a project with Kamae Borstal Girls a girls juvenile in Kamiti whereby we were able tp go find funds and we manged to get 20000ksh which we bought soap, tissues and sweets that we took their and had a 1 hour session with them. I have also had a car wash business since 2017, which has allowed me to learn to be critical with my time as I was a full time student, this has also allowed me to be money skilled and to learn to be wise on decisions made, I gained, customer care and communication skills through this as I interact with people. I have also management skills as I was able to run everything from, employing, hiring, paying employees, paying bills etc.I have also gained a love for travelling therefore making me flexible to move around, I also love to interact with people and work with different diverse people as I have studies with many people of different, countries, cultures at USIU. I also like to listen and be taught as I gain knowledge from that and am able to be corrected and also learn. I have also gained skills on a few psychology major that can make me a peer counsellor as I have done certificate in Youth development programme and a few units on marriage, introduction to psychology etc. I would like too gain more skills in my career in International relations through experience from working in the world.
