• Collaborated with global external sales teams and liaised with cross-functional shareholders to support the sales activities and alignment across APAC, LATAM, and EMEA. • Identified and surfaced critical roadblocks impacting revenue through outside-in industry analyses and internal sales operations analyses (e.g., revenue distribution by accounts/markets, churn). • Intercepted and helped sales partners problem solve critical revenue issues that surfaced over the course of operations - helped grew the global sales partner business from $258M to $296M y/y. • Activities involved mediating account ownership conflicts, coaching sales teams on best practices from other teams, codifying operating procedures, etc.

• Analyzed and compiled go-to-market strategies from different regions and designed a universal decision framework to drive market entry scale in a globally consistent manner. • Collaborated with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to assess how different market conditions, legal factors, customer needs, tax, and financial structures help determine Twitter’s optimal operating structure for a specific market.• Developed financial models that leverage market-specific metrics (i.e., penetration rate, market size, revenue) to enable executives to make data-driven decisions to maximize incremental ROI across global markets.

• Managed client relationships and expectations, secured project engagements, and supported a consulting division of 25 graduate students – resulting in team collaboration and alignment with client needs. • M&A Integration: worked with a resort company to maximize post-acquisition value and realize portfolio synergies. Worked on brand repositioning, portfolio analysis and developed insights to leverage ancillary opportunities – in all recommendations were estimated to realize up to $2.75MM in revenue uplift.• Membership & Loyalty - Pricing Strategy: worked with a company to maximize revenues from their membership program. Developed a pricing model using invoice data and surveys. Drove insights resulting in 62% decrease in churn rate and generating up to $2M in value-added.• Operational-Pricing strategy: worked with a real-estate start-up to increase revenue per sq ft and create synergies among businesses in the portfolio – recommendations were expected to result in up to 10% gross profit increase. CLDS provides pro-bono consulting to nonprofits and local businesses to help them address their most critical issues and achieve engaging solutions by leveraging the collective intelligence of our graduate students at UT Dallas.

The SHARE Lab at SMU studies how relationship dynamics may evolve as we age, and how social-emotional and biological changes across adulthood may enhance or dampen the effects of our social lives on our health.

Under the mentor of Dr. Shayla Holub, this research project was accepted as an Individual Paper Presentation for the 2020 Society for Research on Adolescence Biennial Meeting, was awarded the 2019 Undergraduate Research Scholar Award. Its poster presentation was one of the finalists of the UT Dallas Poster Presentation Competition.

"Mai" is Vietnamese for tomorrow. It was my hope that this initiative could help make tomorrow brighter for the children we sent to school. • Founded and operated a non-profit startup that worked in conjunction with local NGOs in Vietnam to identify recipients for scholarships and opportunities to improve pedagogy – culminating in the award of two full-ride scholarships and a year's supply of school materials to a local school. • Worked in conjunction with local teachers and social workers to identify the most vulnerable cases and track relevant opportunities to improve pedagogy• Developed and operated a transparent update system to keep donors and customers informed of the impact their support had on each student, resulting in an increase in engagement • Developed products and business plans, and negotiated discounts of 45% from suppliers. Even though the initiative haulted when I studied abroad, I got to test my ideas and took away one valuable lesson: ideal solutions may not be optimal, and even if so, they can still struggle to scale without the right ecosystem.
