Under the Documentary Group and Disney Productions, I worked on the documentary film and social action group Girl Rising. As their Digital Media Intern I had daily responsibilities of maintaining all digital media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest and Linkedin), writing copy for all content and designing campaigns for the group. Additionally, I made sure all statistics concerning women's education provided by Girl Rising were up to date.

Stone Mountain, Georgia

Taught a class of five and six-year-old refugees about cross-cultural learning and tutoring in English. Most of the refugees were from Bhutan, Burma, Somalia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I was also trained in CPR and first aid care.

Houston, Texas

After serving in Cotopaxi, Ecuador for eight weeks, I worked in the organization's international headquarters in Houston. As a Travel Assistant, I managed the flights and travels of all our high school volunteers. I took several trips to Miami where I worked in the Miami International Airport to ensure volunteers departed and arrived to and from the U.S. safely.
