Over the last year, I discovered that I could combine my two passions which are sports and community engagement. I have always loved serving my community and planning events that raise awareness for all different types of causes. Eventually, I could see myself working for a professional sports team in the Communications/Community Relations department. From October 2021 to May 2022 I participated in an internship with the University of North Carolina at Wilmington's Men's Club Ice Hockey team. I was a Game Day Operations Intern and the team treasurer. I am a dedicated and hardworking student with a passion for leadership and community involvement.
