I am currently a Registered Nurse in the Surgery Department at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. In this role, I have cross-trained into the circulator role, scrub role, and recovery room. I am dedicated to providing timely, compassionate care to each of my patients. I have acquired TNCC, ENPC, ACLS, PALS certifications during my time in this role. Prior to starting my current role, I worked in the medical/surgical unit at SSM-Monroe Hospital. I also worked at a long-term care center working with geriatric/memory-care patients as a CNA, LPN, and as an RN. In these roles, I learned to utilize different communication forms while also serving as a leader in coordinating patient care. I graduated with an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College. This program provided the foundation of my nursing knowledge from which I continue to build upon each shift. During clinical rotations, I had the opportunity to experience long-term and acute care, emergency, OB, and operating room settings.
