I am an aspiring Interior Designer with an interest in commercial design, particularly in the health care setting. My own experiences with chronic illness and ongoing health issues have inspired me to create comfortable spaces for vulnerable individuals, making their experiences in medical environments a safe and calming one.In my courses, I enjoy learning about evidence-based design, sustainable design through various materials and specifications, universal principles of design that stretch beyond ADA standards, and computer-aided drawing programs.My skills range from writing, designing, and drafting, to leadership, communication, and customer service. Although I perform well under pressure and in fast-paced conditions, I enjoy a quieter environment where I can collaborate one-on-one with my peers and make meaningful connections.On a personal level, I have a hunger for learning and always pour 110% into everything I do. I have a passion for interior design and helping others and would love to share this passion with the world!
