Currently, I am an undergraduate student at the University of Missouri, majoring in Biomedical Engineering with aspirations for a career in medicine. Over the past year, I've been employed as a Direct Support Professional, a choice I made to deepen my involvement in public health. What I find particularly rewarding about this role is the opportunity to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing them with quality care and service, thus contributing positively to my community. My ultimate ambition has always been a career in medicine, and I am enthusiastic about shadowing various specialties to gain insight.
