Grace Slater is a Analyst II at GM Financial. Colleagues describe them as "I had the pleasure of leading Grace during her 2019 Summer Internship at GM Financial. Grace's preparation for her interview set her apart from all other candidates and we were thrilled to offer her our Credit Review summer internship position. During the summer Grace committed herself to not only completing the tasks assigned to her but asked for additional tasks that would challenge her in new ways that she had not experienced during her time at school. Grace was required to create and deliver a presentation that encompassed all that she had learned during her summer internship. Grace took this presentation one step further when she decided to incorporate the results of the additional tasks she had requested. Grace worked with her peers, leaders, and other management in the department to determine how best to communicate the results of her analysis. Grace's ability to learn quickly was evident during her entire 10 week internship. Her ability to learn quickly is no doubt a product of work she puts in to prepare herself every day for her assigned tasks. She also demonstrated on multiple occasions the ability accept and deliver feedback with kindness and respect. Lastly, community investment is a high priority for Grace and she took the time to involve her entire department in her GMF Community Investment challenge during the summer. Through this involvement Grace's ability to drive teamwork and lead change shined. Leading Grace was a joy and an opportunity that I hope to have again in the future!"
