- Aid Effective Team Dynamics (ETD) and Dr. Mary Lynn Realff by performing administrative duties and scheduling clients for team-building workshops for a variety of environments such as GT1000 and GT2000 classes, external clients, and more.

- Take orders, serve drinks, and assist other events staff for large social gatherings of over 100 people such as the UW-Madison 175th anniversary, private events, and weddings.

- Multitask various roles like admissions sales, gift shop sales, customer service, and botanic knowledge while facing hundreds of visitors a day. - Act as a liaison between the general public and upper administration, directing customers to correspond with the correct staff.- Manage financial records for the gift shop and admissions, handle membership sales, and log donations.- Help facilitate annual Holiday Light Show through concessions, parking allotment, trail safety, or ticket sales positions.

At JRI, I researched under the guidance of Dr. Zachary Pratt in search of novel bacteria that possess antimicrobial activity against ESKAPE pathogen relatives. In my project, I isolated a bacteria, dubbed "B10," that produced antibiotics against Staphylococcus epidermidis, a relative of the ESKAPE pathogen, Staphylococcus aureus. I gained valuable experience in different microbial identification methods including, but not limited to, DNA purification, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and biochemical tests (gram stain, catalase assay, phenol red tests, Voges-Proskauer test, citrate test, etc.).After my experimentation, I had the opportunity to be 1 of 8 high school students to present their findings, out of 84 total presenters, at the Tiny Earth 2023 Winter Symposium at Titletown.I then entered my project and competed at the Capital Science & Engineering Fair (CSEF) in Madison, WI, winning a SWE award highlighting women in engineering.
