After 2 years, I transitioned into the Portfolio Delivery Team where I administer and support relevant governing bodies, such as Portfolio Governance Board, People Demand Management Forum and Risk Management. I inform the IT SLT, CIO and CEO on all in-flight IT Projects on a monthly basis, which allows me to have a great understanding of Business Case processes and requirements for managing CAPEX and OPEX. I directly impact Project Managers by delivering induction training and workshop sessions to equip them in their career on successful IT project delivery.A career highlight is having to present to all FB IT staff across New Zealand and Australia at our 'Digital Yarn'.

After completing the 1-year graduate programme, I became familiar with the Business Analyst role so I was able to rock-and-roll with managing key stakeholders by consulting with various Business Unit Management and Finance Teams within the FB organisation to plan and design transformative solutions to provide Financial Performance visibility. This was an iterative process of developing, improving and refining the result and supporting change management through User Guide Documentation to influence user efficiency.A career highlight in this role was the relationships that I got to develop with various teams across the FB Business Units.

After graduating University, I was selected to join Fletcher Building IT in the Finance Applications Team.Undergoing Fletcher Building's Corporate Graduate Programme, I got to learn about personal branding, understanding my personality type and dealing with other personalities, health and safety in the workplace and leading my group in a business simulation to success where we were awarded first place amongst 10 groups for our outstanding business decision-making. As a Graduate Business Analyst, I learnt and became familiar with understanding the different finance apps, such as JDE and Hubble, to then communicate with our customer users on how to efficiently and effectively use it to their advantage. I worked alongside business finance managers and their team members to understand their requirements and scope to create a solution suited to the business. I would communicate this with our developers to build the enhancement where I would be involved in testing and delivering user acceptance testing with key stakeholders before rolling the enhancements out into Production.A career highlight was having to present a business process improvement case to the IT Senior Leadership Team and also taking part in the Graduate Program promotional video. In my final year of University, I knew I wanted to help and inspire students who were entering into their Business degree and uncertain of where this could lead them to. I knew I wanted to inform students who were pursuing Business and Accounting on a pathway to continue further studies on becoming a Chartered Accountant. I represented CA ANZ at a range of industry events on and off campus and assisted with the distribution of marketing collateral and relevant messaging.A highlight was visiting Rosmini College over a week to present to Junior and Senior students undergoing Accounting studies to share about my high-school experience in completing Accounting studies through to NCEA level 3 has greatly impacted with completing my foundation paper in Accounting studies at University,

During my second year of university, I was selected to be a part of TupuToa Internship Programme. TupuToa is a non-profit organisation that seeks to ensure corporate Aotearoa is representative of our country, by developing and empowering our Maori and Pasifika people and building the cultural capability of their partners. I was fortunate to have gained a 3-month Summer Internship with the Treasury Team at Fletcher Building where I delivered Key Financial Market updates, launched a Summary Bank Account Registry and supported FX deals by utilising Bloomberg Data.
