I completed my Masters degree in Organised Crime, Terrorism and Security at the University of Essex, achieving a Merit. My dissertation research used a qualitative content analysis methodology to investigate non-offending paedophile discussion forums online. Prior to this, I achieved a First Class degree in BSc (Hons) Criminology and Forensic Investigation. My dissertation research was based around the conception of child grooming as a cyber-enabled crime- examining whether the internet has exacerbated the issue of grooming or simply transformed the way in which offenders are able to reach out to victims.Alongside my studies I worked part-time at Primark as a weekend supervisor. As well as supervising the general day-to-day running of the shop floor I was also involved in providing the induction training programme to new employees. This included guidance on customer service skills, health and safety in the workplace, discrimination and sexual harassment policy and ethical trading.
