Provided assistance for the Longscan Family Child Study, the National Training Institute (NTI) for Child Care Health Consultants (CCHCs), and the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (HPDP). For the Longscan Family Child Study, recruited 150 subjects to participate in a follow-on project for a longitudinal study conducted among individuals who were maltreated/neglected as children and communicated with subjects to coordinate logistics and obtain verbal consent. For the work with NTI, strengthened NTI curriculum materials and project evaluation forms designed for trainers of CCHCs, planned for the future of NTI at advisory board meetings by identifying key challenges and opportunities, and analyzed the current state regulations for child care centers and matched them with opportunities for CCHCs. For the work with the Center of HPDP, designed nutrition programs to implement at childcare centers for diverse populations, conducted health examinations for employees and advised them about strategies to adopt healthier behaviors, provided weekly personalized feedback for employees using data outcomes to encourage healthier behaviors, educated child care staff about how to design a worksite wellness plan specific to their environment, and analyzed data for accuracy for the Healthy Child Weight Initiative Project to be reviewed by the principal investigator.

Volunteered at Ntwanano, a community-based organization (CBO) with project design and implementation. Collaborated on organizational development and home-based care visits to HIV positive patients.
