Growing up in east central Indiana, I quickly learned the importance of agriculture. Thanks to joining my local 4-H and FFA programs I was able to get involved in the industry, even though I didn't have a traditional agricultural background. By combining my heart for service and my interests, I was able to make meaningful relationships as the Indiana FFA State Reporter. After this year of service, I began working throughout the Midwest at livestock shows for Walton Webcasting. I also started preparing for my post-secondary education at Purdue University, where I study Agricultural Education. Ultimately, I plan to use my heart and interests to help students discover their passion for agriculture and grow the future generations of agriculturalists.
