Ensures national service requirements are met benefitting Pi Beta Phi’s efforts to end child illiteracy. This included collaborating with our local philanthropy, The Boys and Girls Club of Brazos Valley, to create daily service opportunities for Pi Beta Phi members, such as tutoring, mentoring, and reading with students. Also coordinated for chapter-wide service events such as Fraternity Day of Service, free book fairs, and other advocacy projects in our community.

Elected by Director Leadership to serve on a board conducting interviews for 65 leadership positions within the chapter. I helped finalize leadership decisions and create a single slate of the most qualified members for the chapter leadership team elections every semester.

I was responsible for documenting attendance for all weekly service opportunities for Pi Beta Phi members at The Boys and Girls Club of Brazos Valley. I also coordinated volunteer opportunities for members such as a pen pal program with students across the nation and free book fairs for underprivileged students in the community.

Mentored and guided a small group of 11 business honors students during their first semester of college. This includes collaborating with my partner to develop and teach weekly lessons regarding business skills.

Mentored 32 high school girl campers over a 6-week period with round-the-clock care. Coached campers regarding in-depth reading of the Bible, critical thinking, and personal application in a small group setting.
