I am a passionate Software Developer with some level of cybersecurity, fueled by passion for providing solutions to everyday problems through the use of technology. I’m willing to contribute to the development of my world with Excellence, Diligence, Honesty and Integrity.As a backend developer, I contributed to a project in the Enugu State Tech Hub, an E-government platform, where I served on a National Youth Service call. I worked closely under the supervision of senior developers. I'm currently wrapping up my 6-month virtual internship at Genesys Tech in Enugu, where I am been exposed to JavaScript, Node.js/Express, and finally TypeScript.In the internship, we were tasked with building a simple hotel management API with full authentication and authorization. Here, we have two kinds of users, admin and guest (users). The admin has some privileges that the normal users don’t have.Admin privileges are deleting and editing a room. For authentication, I used JWT (JSON web token ) a package for securely transmitting information between parties as a JSON object, We used the token provided to check If users are actually logged in before performing any task. I also used JOI validator package for data validation before they hit the database.Finally, we are working on the conversion of the code base to TypeScript, making the codebase statically typed, with all the features in the API
