I am an innovative, well rounded environmental professional with more than 20 years of experience completing environmental surveys, planning, project management, business development and staff supervision. I have systematically advanced my career from completing summer internship positions consisting of surveys of threatened and endangered species to managing complex multidisciplinary projects with consulting fees in excess of $1 million and total project costs of over $1 billion. My extensive environmental experience crosses a broad variety of industry types including agriculture, oil and gas, renewable energy, transmission, infrastructure, and transportation. I was instrumental in building an environmental group starting from 5 employees that expanded to a highly functional diverse staff of more than 50 environmental, cultural resource and GIS professionals that serviced client needs for a consulting firm with more than 700 employees during a time of historically significant growth in the region. During this time, I was also the production director for the group responsible for providing leadership to environmental, cultural resource and GIS workgroup managers, as well as responsible for profit and loss and management of the overall group budget. I have been the Environmental Department Manager for the past 5 years which consists of leading a group of approximately 40 employees. I am responsible for day-to-day assignment of staff workload, providing direction to workgroup managers, timesheet approval, training needs, budgets, mentoring, and hiring of employees to meet production needs. I have a reputation of having a strong work ethic and willing to help understanding personality, while holding employees responsible for their workload tasks.
