I spent 2015 to 2019 working at a dog kennel where I trained bird dogs and worked around the farm fixing machinery while doing tobacco farming during the farming season. I gained skills such as work ethic, teamwork, determination, listening and retaining information required for the job and how to enjoy the job even when it is hard. During college I had a job at Berry Plastics working as a 3rd shift Parts Handler during the summer, then I had an internship at Bootz Inc. where I was a Process Engineer and learned about what an Engineer does to maintain environmental regulations and safety while also keeping up with production demands. After graduating from Murray State, I accepted a position at Experitec Inc where I became an Associate Automation Engineer. During my time as a Assoicate Automation Engineer I received valuable hands-on experience in communicating to co-workers in remote settings and in the plant. I continue to gain experience in troubleshooting techniques and gaining a knowledge of DCS's from the OT area as well as the hardware and infrastructure.
