As Executive Director of Community Engagement and Outreach for the University of Connecticut I work to identify opportunities for the university to make an impact in Connecticut as we educate the next generation workforce, foster community engagement and development, and inspire innovation. Previously, I served the State of Connecticut as part of an Agency leadership team with responsibility for modernization, management, and representing the agency to the legislature, community partners, and other stakeholders; the National Governors Association as a strategist for governors and their senior staff with expertise in the leadership and management of state government, and the organization, operation and staffing of the governor’s office; Accenture on their global government relations team representing the interests of the firm to state and federal governments, coordinating strategy, and positioning the c-suite in business groups; and in the U.S. House of Representatives as staff to the Democratic Caucus, working Caucus-wide to help Members consider issues, define goals, and serve constituents, as well as in the office of Congressman John B. Larson (CT-01).
