My working career has been scaffolding and management related and within the last 5 years I have focused on H&S roles following completion of my NEBOSH certificate and more recently my Level 5 NVQ, OHS Diploma. I constantly develop my role in all aspects of scaffolding, management and H&S. I am competent in supervising and leading a team with consideration to safe practices, legislation and health and safety practices. I have worked in the UAE for the last 10 years and understand the benefits and barriers to working in a multicultural environment with skilled and unskilled employees. I understand the importance of effective communications and how to overcome barriers. Responsible for the day to day project planning of operations on several large construction and infra structure projects, which involves scheduling up to 6 months in advance. Estimating the amount of equipment required, reading and understanding technical drawings, costing and timescale requirements ensuring all adhere to the scaffold policy and Safe Systems of Work.I am an enthusiastic and skilled professional who is a dedicated employee as I enjoy my chosen career. I am willing to gain new information and skills and share my extensive scaffolding and H&S knowledge with the team.
