I am an educator, writer and photographer, with over twenty years experience working in British universities. I have expertise in the field of Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science and Government, Sociology, Criminology, Culture and Communication, and Social Movement Studies. I have authored a number of books and articles in these areas and have worked with a range of NGOs, Government, civil society and other international organisations. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Geographical Society. I am presently working as a freelance consultant, researcher and photographer.
