As the course leader of both the Creativity and Storytelling and Website Optimisation courses on Noroff's online Digital Marketing program, I am responsible for content creation, learning design, and teaching.

I continue to write, edit, and proofread in a freelance capacity. This includes producing marketing collateral for my former full-time employer (2U), writing and storyboarding ad hoc video projects for various global clients, and editing a series of country guides aimed at tourists for a major international insurance company.

As a Mid Content Writer at GetSmarter/2U, I was responsible for producing copy across a range of platforms (email, web, search, social and display, blog materials etc.) for a number of university partners, including the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, LSE, Harvard University, Yale University, and MIT Sloan.

I was given swift promotion from writer to Blink Tower's Head of Pre-Production. This entailed the assumption of new responsibilities, including a greater level of directorial responsibility and an increasingly client-facing role. As Head of Pre-Production, the conceptual success of any given video rested on my shoulders. I also enjoyed the opportunity to provide feedback on the late-stage process (illustration, animation, SFX, music etc.) and even wider business concerns. My duties included writing, storyboarding, directing (both talent and suppliers), client liaison, managing post-production, and more. In sum, I was directly involved in the conception and creation of more than 200 explainer videos, many of which are award-winning. Prominent clients included Booking.com, O2, TEDx, the Red Cross, and UNICEF.

As Blink Tower's Head Writer, I was responsible for all video scripts, as well as the wording for treatments, proposals, brochures, and the like. Over the course of a year, I also started to take the lead in brainstorming, thumbnailing, and storyboarding, learning new skills and software in the process.

After graduating, I undertook a substantial amount of freelance work. This included writing copy for websites, ebooks, and paperback publications, writing all the materials for a TEDx event in South Africa, working as a proofreader, and assisting in the research, plotting, and writing of a full-length feature film concept.
