• As a new Crown Corporation, BCIB is responsible for implementing the Community Based Agreement (CBA) on select public infrastructure projects, ensuring a diverse workforce. As a Representative, I act as the on-site.
• Work with the Prime Contractor and BCIB Dispatch for workforce acquisition using CBA priority sequence.
• Deliver BCIB orientation and policy training to new site workers (small and large groups). Guide and follow up throughout the onboarding process, ensure required certifications in place and upload records.
• Planning for a high volume of various trades workers at project peak; monitoring staffing and coverage, preparing daily reports.
• Monitor and prepare employee transaction records. Maintain daily operational reports and tracking systems.
• Act as a lead for worker disputes, grievance, disciplinary matters; manage meetings and deliver decisions.
