Has over 25 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. He has consulted on formulating cosmetic and toiletry products while based in the United Kingdom, Australia and in Taiwan, to countries around the world including Switzerland, USA, Japan, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Scandinavia and Canada. He has assisted in preparing quasi-drug product, medicated product and other therapeutic goods applications to governments in a number of countries, across products ranging from creams, lotions, hair products, dental products and vitamin tablet and capsule preparations.An Industrial Chemistry graduate and Engineering postgraduate of the University of New South Wales and a Business Administration postgraduate of the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He was elected a Fellow the Royal Australian Chemical Institute in 1993. He is also a Chartered Chemist (Australia), and has been a member of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists since 1983. He has served on a number of Standards Australia Product and Devices Committees and is currently a member of the CS-042 Sunscreen Agents Committee and the CS-108 Cosmetics-Terminology Committee. He has been a member of the NICNAS Cosmetic Advisory Group representing the cosmetic industry since 2009.He was employed by Unilever for twenty years with his last position with them as Supply Chain Director for Unilever Taiwan. He has been a Director and Regulatory Affairs Consultant with Engel, Hellyer & Partners Pty Ltd for over 10 years.
