Kinross Farms is an egg production company supplying eggs to major supermarket chains within Australia. There are 3 major production sites across Victoria that require a safety knowledge base that covers, Primary Producing & Farming, Maintenance/Workshops, Transportation, Manual Handling, Food Processing, Construction, Warehouse, Plant & Equipment, Office Ergonomics just to mention a few.I am responsible for maintaining the WHS management system on a day to day basis. Duties include;Training and support of the safety management software system (MANGO) to all managers, supervisors and administration staff. Overseeing compliance within the allocated timeframes to have investigations or improvements completed and hazards eliminated or lessened.I created a user friendly safety audit template as well as an incident and accident reporting procedures for staff to use.I provide guidance and expertise to managers in safety compliance so that their goal for continuous improvement is achieved utilising Quality and Safety cohesively.

I am responsible for the day to day running of the WHS Head office offering support and specialist advice to solve compliance and safety related issues over thirteen varied workplaces. It is the 2nd largest salmon producer in the state and employees approximately 550 employees over 13 sites across the state. Huon sites are comprised of water based farming pens, sea and land vessels, engineering workshops, processing plant and value adding facilities and offices. .

I was responsible for the development of safe working procedures for the removal of redundant copper phone lines from the underground Telstra Network in Victoria and Western Australia. Supervise an extraction team on day to operations.• Supervision of 9 direct reports,• Plan the work schedule around safe working procedures and minimal environmental impact,• Accurate record keeping based on the days works output,• Build and maintain relationships with external agencies and contractors,• Provide direction and knowledge to other team leaders on compliance with the OH&S Act 2004 & WHS Act 2012,• Maintain an ever changing work environment in a safe manner having regard to my employees, pedestrian and vehicle traffic, private and public property, animals and the environment. (RRT) Resource Recovery Technology was one of several companies contracted by Telstra Australia to safely and efficiently remove copper cable from their underground network as the NBN replaced the old systems. The work involved continuous monitoring and assessment of safety planning as the work site was dynamic and moved position several times a day following the network often beside main busy roadways.

I ran and maintained a Personal Training Company that delivered a range of training products designed by me to fit individual training needs. Products I delivered to clients ranged from 1 on 1 training designed for sports specific goals, general fitness for all ages and levels, indoor and outdoor group training sessions and rehabilitation programs for injured workers in consultation with their medical team.

I was employed as a contractor to deliver a Police Recruit Training package on behalf of the US Government as part of their stabilization of the country after they had invaded. My role consisted of establishing training program objectives and designing appropriate courses. I was exposed to many different cultures, religions, customs and belief systems during this period and I cherish these valuable experiences and education that will assist me in my future working life.

Duties included the planning and conduct of emergency response and intervention services, investigation, detection and prevention of crime, the provisions of traffic policing services, community policing initiatives and targeted patrolling to the general community as a police officer.My duties also included the planning, organisation and provision of firearms and operational skills training to uniformed and Special Operations Group police. Duties pertaining to the development of training to meet national police competencies and implementation and development of competency based training and assessment within the Tasmania Police Service.I was a member of the Special Operations Group and my duties included the application of high risk protection, hostage rescue skills to normal operational policing. Skills utilized were leadership, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in high stress environments, whilst possessing a high degree of decision making and problem solving abilities. I am Close Quarter Battle and Marksman Observer trained. Special Operations Group Firearms Instructor’s Course
