I am an AV Design Engineer and Certified Network Administrator offering over 20+ years of extensive, hands-on experience in the conceptualization, development, and deployment of fixed access networks and cutting-edge audio-visual technologies. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my strengths in AV infrastructure planning, multi-site project management, and technical customer advisement and support. In this role, I was responsible for engineering and overseeing the installation of highly-complex AV system solutions for a diverse range of clients across the greater Denver metro area including the Denver Botanical Gardens, Denver Water, the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, and the Denver Health Agency. As their AV Design Engineer, I was responsible for: ■ Assisting the E2 sales organization by conducting initial customer needs analysis on-site while preparing detailed schematics and associated cost estimates. ■ Partnering with Project Managers to establish and gain agreement on final construction plans including rack/wall elevations, ceiling and floor plans, network configurations, and cable pull charts. ■ Managing teams of subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle; ensuring quality of work and worker safety.■ Overseeing the processing of all change orders and project close-outs requiring extensive system testing, the facilitation of end-user training, and the development/delivery of as-built drawings and equipment operations manuals. Most notably, I was able to take over a project for the new, Gaylord of the Rockies Hotel and Convention Center that had been initially plagued with project setbacks prior to my hire. However, I quickly assessed and rectified all issues, which in turn, led to the successful completion of the project on-time, on-budget, and to the customer's specifications and quality expectations. -
