Responsible for creating high visual impact marketing and communications materials consistent with the company’s branding guidelines. Worked within the marcoms team and with third party suppliers on digital (web, mobile, interactive, social) and printed media design projects.This role included:Listening to clients (operational staff and managers, function staff and managers, Board members etc.) to understand their needs and interpret them into a fully developed brief before making design decisions;Creating design briefs that show understanding and relevance to the target market;Developing creative ideas and concepts, choosing appropriate media that best meet the brief, taking into account the company’s established channels of communication;Develop concepts into the end product, giving direction on photography style, imagery, typography, iconography, and navigation optimised for web;Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to clients;Scheduling and prioritising work to meet clients’ time constraints and managing clients’ expectations regarding the end product and the delivery deadline;Proof reading to produce accurate and high-quality work;Commissioning and directing illustrators, photographers and videographers;Liaising with colleagues and the company’s retained PR firm/s to produce the company’s in-house magazine and manage website content.

Working within a creative team to produce marketing material (print and digital) for a wide variety of clients. Maintaining long-running client relationships and providing accurate costings to deliver projects within budget.

Design and management of print collateral from conception to completion. Repro Mac operator, responsible for checking amending, artworking and pre-flighting work and outputting suitable for litho print.
