I am a highly self-motivated, customer focused Service Engineer with extensive experience gained across technical support and IT support. My experience encompasses PC installations, server and network configuration and upgrades, together with troubleshooting and fault finding across both hardware and software. More recently, I have been working with tachographs and GPRS systems, primarily working within a workshop environment with visits to clients when necessary to deliver on site support.I am an excellent communicator with the ability to create and convey ideas and offer IT and technical solutions at all levels. I have utilised my extensive knowledge and presentation skills to train apprentices as well as deliver coaching to equipment users.In my earlier career, I primarily worked on behalf of retail clients across Scotland to install, repair and decommission EPOS systems, ATMs, and Chip & Pin systems as well as multi-media touchscreen kiosks. I have also worked for internationally recognised organisations such as Computacenter and Toshiba, which provided an opportunity to work on major projects, including the deployment of PCs, laptops and workstations for thousands of users across multiple sites.My key areas of expertise include: Windows 7/XP/2000/98/95, Network & Server Administration, NCR & Wincor, ATM Servicing, Electronic Servicing, Tachographs, GPRS, and EPOS Systems.
