At GR I mostly design and build custom features and solutions, typically using Flows, based upon the business needs. The majority of my time has been focused on lead distribution, but I have also delved into lead scoring, call scripts, and more. I initially vetted several AppExchange lead distribution products, created demos of the products, and then presented them to our stakeholders along with my recommendations based on our needs. After a selection was made, I began building our distribution system with both native features (of the 3rd party product) and custom features that I built. Some of my custom features have also inspired the 3rd party vendor to add them to their product and I now regularly provide feedback on future features as well.

I manage the support side of QTS' internal Salesforce team, handling all incidents and non-project-based requests. Tasks can range from user provisioning (simple) to multi-object automation (complex). I typically do all of the steps of the case lifecycle end-to-end, including: requirements gathering, case management, solution design, configuration, testing, documentation, user training, etc.As far as attitude and mindset, I like the approach the position as that of a support agent; always striving to provide the best service that I can provide to the end-user. This means that I will try to foresee any complications and get ahead of them and any potential room for enhancement in the future for them to consider. I view my relationship with the end-user as a collaborative one where I rely on their knowledge of the business processes to provide the best possible user experience.Additionally, I also manage the majority of the team's audit and compliance responsibilities; persistently thinking of ways to streamline those efforts for myself, the team, and the audit/compliance department.

I am responsible for building both custom and out-of-the-box solutions for our client’s CPQ Implementations. I work with the team’s Solution Architects to clarify requirements and then build product rules, price rules, discount schedules, approvals rules, and more.I have also been assigned as the project’s “Product Master”, which means that I am responsible for receiving the client’s product and pricing catalog, analyzing the data’s integrity, fixing – or requesting to be fixed – any errors that I discover, translating their data into CPQ specific objects, loading their data into the correct objects and fields, and then testing to ensure that the data behaves as expected within the system. Not only has this drastically improved my understanding of the broader CPQ landscape, but also it has resulted in a more advanced use of Excel and data management in general.

On the main project, a government Salesforce org through the USDA and Accenture Federal Services, I was primarily responsible for constructing out-of-the-box solutions to satisfy the client needs. Working within a highly customized Salesforce implementation, I often had to keep many considerations in mind and be creative with my solutions.Additionally, I actively sought out more areas where I could be of use which led me to assist our team's Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and Testers. I facilitated most of the team's technical needs during meetings, interfaced with product owners , advocated for the team and product owners when they were not present, worked with the project train's user experience designers to consult on technical limitations and alternative suggestions, and created or improved documentation for processes or features as necessary.Another major role that I picked up was as the team's Jira administrator. I quickly went from having no experience with Jira to re-organizing the team's tickets, scrum board, and the creation of filters and dashboards. Shortly after creation, my dashboards got attention by USDA and AFS leadership and led to the request that I replicate the dashboard (with improved and alternative functionality) for all teams on the train.

I was the primary front-end developer for all projects involving non-Wordpress websites, landing pages, html emails, and anything else that requires technical problem solving that no one else has experience with.I worked with our in-house SEO/PPC specialists to implement google analytics solutions, tracking scripts, and website optimizations.I consulted the design team on UX/UI best practices to ensure that their designs will look and work properly once translated into code.In my free time I learned new skills on Treehouse, designed and developed processes and web tools to improve efficiency, and developed innovative improvements to our client’s projects.

During this period of time I took care of my two daughters full-time until I found another position.I continued to develop my skills in patience and empathy!

I was fortunate to be chosen to remain with VinSolutions as the only remaining contract employee in production after all of the contracts were let go. The team that I have joined is the National Accounts team handling all of the Lexus brand dealer sites.My duties include finding and fixing bugs, implementing feature requests, and updating content as requested by Lexus. I use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to complete these tasks.My team includes another Developer, a Designer, a Quality Assurance analyst, and a Project Manager. We hold daily stand-ups, weekly sprint planning, and weekly retrospectives.As of October 1st, my contract has expired and my position has been dissolved due to a lack of incoming work.

I am responsible for building automotive dealer websites, making corrections that are noted from our quality assurance department, and making custom revisions based on dealer feedback; I use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to accomplish these tasks. In addition to building sites, I am also responsible for making sure that all projects continue to progress through our process and that the final product is high quality and complete.On a daily basis I work with two to three other individuals to make sure that we achieve our overall goals for each project.
