In my role as Group Compliance Manager for the Star Entertainment Group I have the following duties• Developed and implemented a management framework to achieve compliance with The Star’s principal regulatory and other compliance risk exposures.• Co-ordinated and Conducted Compliance Assurance reviews by my team of business operations to validate the documented processes are followed.• Developed reporting standards for incidents and breaches to ensure a consistency and quality of reporting that enable clear understanding and assessment of issues.• Undertaken reviews of documented processes across the Star Entertainment Group to enable the implementation of best practice and process consistency at all properties.• Developed and delivered compliance presentations to the senior leadership team• Monitor and report relevant compliance breaches and oversee processes to identify causes of breaches and implementation of appropriate remedial actions.• Assist in preparing reports to the company’s Board Risk and Compliance Committee regarding the effectiveness of The Star’s compliance programs.• Provide support to the Legal Regulatory and Compliance team and Chief Legal and Risk Officer as required and assist with assigned projects.

Act as the liaison between the NSW casino regulator and The Star. Respond to information queries and investigations. Obtain approval for new gaming products and game rules.Explain operational decisions to casino regulator.Advise business units on how to comply to regulations and controls in a manner that doesn't impact negatively on financial performance.Compile information for the the casino licence review.

Oversee the day today running of the casino gaming floor. Respond to patron complaints, discipline staff and provide leadership and direction.
