I am a highly energetic, passionate, and driven person with a variety of applicable skills across multiple industries. As a graduate from Simon Fraser University, with a bachelor degree in Applied Biology Environmental Science, I have a myriad of environmental management and restoration skills. My capstone project, which focused on the restoration of Still Creek in Vancouver via the removal of invasive Himalayan Blackberries, was selected to be part of HUBBUB 20. I have also worked as a volunteer through Metro Vancouver Regional Parks as a stewardship partner, and have assisted in eDNA collection and analysis, as well as multiple invasive species removal projects across the different parks, and have led volunteers through the bioengineering process of willow staking. Beyond my work as an environmental steward, I have worked as a piano teacher, outdoor camp counsellor, and assistant restaurant manager. Through these roles I have become an adept, positive, and efficient leader in wildly varied situations, and can maintain that positivity in high stress situations.
