This post leads the Learning and Teaching Development Service’s Learning Enhancement and Technology team. My responsibilities include:• line management of the Learning Enhancement and Technology team, and being a member of the LTDS Strategy Group• leading central University services that support Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) and educational development• leading the development of the academic staff development programme offered through LTDS.I have a keen interest in Open Badges and have led the development of the University's first Open Badge (for out ncl+ award). I have published research on the implementation of Open Badges across Europe.I'm also involved in the online assessment and feedback project (OLAF). This project includes reporting on the expected benefits to students, costs and recommendations for implementation, and the creation of a policy for the ethical use of student data in learning analytics.
