I believe that LinkedIn offers a fantastic opportunity for business people around the world to connect, share ideas, collaborate and even take the relationship offline. My business is to help people and companies get finance and I use LinkedIn to keep up to date with industry trends and challenges, innovative leaders and connect with potential collaborators. Fresh out of an Accounting Degree I worked for two years in London. On returning to Australia I began to follow one of my passions; investment management. Through the 2000s I worked at a couple of large Investment Management firms in the Performance Measurement and Risk areas and I enjoyed designing new things or improving the existing. My career has helped me develop great skills in negotiation, agile project management, and dealing with complex situations. Reflecting on my career and what I am passionate about I decided to move back to fundamentals and established a Finance Broking business where today I enjoy helping families and small businesses owners and investors to obtain finance in order to buy a home or business, a new car or a piece of equipment or machinery. In addition to reading for relaxation and bushwalking with my family, I am a keen cyclist and often combine cycling with fundraising activities.
