About Graeme Clark Gaicd

I am a CEO, Executive Director, Marketing and Product professional with three decades of experience in the technology sector across Australia and Asia. In an executive capacity, I am currently a Business Advisor at Edge Semantics. Here, I work with the CEO, with a remit, to build a valuable software business. Previously I spent almost 15 years in senior leadership positions at Advent One, a private IT service provider, where I managed services to corporate and government clients across Australia. I developed and executed a strategy that transformed the business from a traditional reseller to a hybrid cloud-managed service provider, becoming a business that corporate and government clients relied on, enjoying 5x growth in revenue and 7x growth in profit. Earlier, I held executive roles at Lenovo and IBM, where I led Asia Pacific Marketing teams with an annual budget in excess of US$100M. At Lenovo, I led the launch of ‘Lenovo’ across the Asia Pacific, activating sponsorships with the Olympics and Formula 1. At board level, what I do is help customer-centric businesses to grow and thrive. I do that leveraging proven business acumen (9 years as a CEO), coupled with Digital, Technology and Cyber skills and a solid understanding of the value of distribution chains in technology, from both the vendor and the client-facing perspective.Finally, I have received my Bachelor of Engineering in Digital Systems and Computers from RMIT and my MBA with distinction in Marketing and Corporate Finance from Melbourne Business School. In 2021, I Graduate from the Company Director Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
