The Senior Coordinator Learning Partnerships plays an integral role in the Lifelong Learning team which is focused on both operational management and innovation in short form learning at Deakin University. The team uses a holistic approach to deliver and improve lifelong learning and career development experiences, strengthening Deakin’s brand worldwide.The Senior Coordinator Learning Partnerships supports relationships needed to develop industry relevant microcredentials, professional development courses, as well as the social learning facilitation staff needed to support delivery. Also responsible for establishing program level responsibilities, priorities, ongoing oversight, hands-on administration, as well as advocating for key short for learning relationships and opportunities.

Designing, developing, implementing and managing bespoke processes for transnational education programs at Deakin University in collaboration with international partners.Responsible for the recommendation, development and implementation of innovative improvements to optimise existing programs and bespoke processes to enhance the staff and student experience.

As the course specialist at Unity College Australia, I have the privilege of providing specialist and professional advise and support to internal and external stakeholders.I am also responsible for compliance coordination of a nationally accredited qualification run by the college. This includes servicing external training centre partners with auspice agreements to deliver formal training through Unity College Australia to domestic and international students (CRICOS). It also includes analysing, reviewing and auditing the training and assessment strategies and associated documentation of all stakeholders for quality assurance and to ensure compliance with the accredited course rules and Government regulator guidelines (ASQA). NB: In Feb 2022, I took a break from this role to focus on my full-time role at Deakin University. In Jan 2023, I resumed this role in a casual capacity with reduced hours.Unity College Australia is a Registered Training Organisation - RTO.

As Director of Studies for the training college I had the privilege of working with academics and staff to see learners empowered and equipped to maximise their potential. Over the past decade Stairway College has trained more than three thousand people from across Melbourne, regional Victoria, interstate and internationally.
