The platform, built on a microservices architecture, was executed across various geographical locations and time zones, live in less that 2 years from inception. This scalable platform transformed the customer journey, significantly reducing the new quote question set and with the potential capability to accommodate multiple concurrent affinity partner propositions and insurance products. I orchestrated a comprehensive organisational redesign that led to the rebranding of the team as Covea Digital, a strategic move that facilitated the successful execution of the transformation strategy and resulted in increased employee engagement scores. I also established a modern agile methodology, standard technology blueprint including implementing a modern agile approach to product discovery / validation with iterative solution design and delivery. I instilled suitable technology, security and product governance processes and owned the product strategy, roadmap and portfolio management. As 3 major M&A activities had just been completed, I led a series of companywide technology projects to create a standardised structure and operating model. This included consolidating multiple General Ledger platforms, cloud system migrations, self-service data capabilities, overseeing compliance and regulatory projects and implementing modern HR processes and systems. This enabled the alignment of diverse businesses onto a unified domain, modernizing support systems and tools, leading to substantial operational efficiency gains and on-going cost savings. -
