Senior Quantity Surveyor promoted to Managing Quantity Surveyor, responsible for overseeing the commercial management in Scotland of a £35 million turnover Civil Engineering and Building Business.Duties included managing 25 Quantity Surveyors, producing monthly cost/value reconciliations and forecasts, managing the production of claims by consultants, liaising with legal advisors on arbitration, coordinating all reporting with the group Commercial and Managing Directors. Involved in a variety of projects including Tunnels, Sewer Drainage, Roads, Bridges, Swimming Pools, Housing and Office Developments.

Duties included project cost/ value monitoring, sub-contract management, valuation production, remeasurement, variation monitoring, preparation of claim documents and handling disputes with both sub-contractors and clients.
