Graeme founded Agile Energy Recovery Limited in 2012 and has been primarily involved in the development of the pioneering Thainstone IRF Project in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland and in the the build out of a pipeline of similar projects across Europe. Previously, Graeme is a business leader with specific interests in Information Technology, Power, Utilities, Renewable Energy, Telecommunications, Sustainability and CleanTech projects but with a focus on Energy from Waste. Graeme has significant Main Board experience and a proven and verified track record of attracting funding to these opportunities. He has been instrumental in initiating and developing business relationships and is also skilled in the facilitation and development of strategic partnerships with key trade partners. Agile Energy are developing a Green Energy Park utilising an Integrated Resource Recovery Facility (IRF) near Inverurie in NE Scotland. Utilising 200,000 tonnes of waste collected from businesses around the North of Scotland, the project will use technology which will minimise emissions to the atmosphere to well below the regulatory requirement. Producing more than 30 megawatts of electricity and at least 60 megawatts of heat, the project has an ambition to develop a local heat network to provide heat energy to co-located businesses and the local community. We are also talking to a number of complimentary businesses who have expressed an interest in locating alongside the plant, to take advantage of the green energy that we create and are actively pursuing some exciting value propositions using the waste heat from the plant and technology that can extract CO2 from the flue gas, producing valuable end products that will sequester the carbon.
