Whilst working at Hope Recruits, I've managed to gain many invaluable skills within sales, account management and recruitment. Our aim is to provide companies, irrespective of size, with the best candidates possible in line with their tailored criteria. This business has been built from the ground up and the vast majority of our business has been generated by positive word of mouth, both by clients and candidates. We care about our business, but we care more about the people we are in contact with even more. The last few years I was at Hope Recruits, I took over the day-to-day running and overall decision making of the business.

East Kilbride / Govan

Initially taken on to provide much needed backup within the kitchen at the restaurant and quickly gained prominence for my focus on standards, efficiency and manage my time in the most effective manner possible. Eventually, I was given the chance to venture out into the front of house, where I learned to develop rapport with customers, and also to handle complaints if necessary.

East Kilbride

This role began as an apprenticeship with Scotland's largest independent printing company. My training involved being able to spot flaws in machinery and to be analytical when dealing with the nature of the problem. The machines ranged from desk-sized CD sleeve machines to multi-million pound book binders / state of the art printing presses. Once my time as an apprentice was served, I looked to also gain my forklift license (which I passed the mock test for, though this was near the administration period and spending became tighter). I have experience in tool-making, mechanical components, technical drawing, liaising with different departments for their needs and also with preventative maintenance.
