I have always loved using technology to enhance operations and customer experience. Having spent 15 years in retail, – working across retail operations, IT and trading – I moved into the aviation sector, where my roles included leading ground operations and customer services.I brought internet check-in to market in 2005, introduced world’s largest auto bag drop installation and used technology to optimise the airport operating environment.I then helped a newly formed logistics organisation to shape the vision for the business and delivered a successful start-up phase of the company during a turbulent time for the industry with the Covid-19 pandemic, HGV driver shortages and the economic downturn in 2022.
