Operational oversight of key London venues pre-Covid, expanding through all London venues for the reopening phase and beyond.Voted 2019 Global Operations Manager of the Year by GM’s and leadership team.Opened UK's first ever alcohol-free bar at BrewDog AF Old Street in January 2020.Led Clerkenwell bar refurbishment in February 2020 before collaborating on closure of all London bars within days completion, as first lockdown was announced and implemented within hours.During final lockdown, repurposed our flagship venue to save otherwise dead stock by creating canning facility. This allowed us to sell kegged stock, in bulk to consumers at home. 60 different keg lines, 30,000 cans in 10 days.Whilst UK was in lockdown, European countries began to remove restrictions. During this period, travelled to Rotterdam to manage franchise relationship to open their first location, a 500sqm open plan brewpub housing a 5HL brewhouse, 10 fermenters and 10 serving tanks.After this project was completed, travelled to Brussels and Paris to reopen both managed locations safely and successfully.Created the 'Covid Playbook' https://d1fnkk8n0t8a0e.cloudfront.net/docs/BARS+COVID-19+PLAYBOOK.pdf document to ensure all crew knew how to restart the UK businesses under new guidelines. I joined Loungers when the company had 30 restaurants. It was, as is now, a fast paced inclusive culture that transformed my thinking within hospitality.Loungers is a substantial and growing operator in the UK hospitality sector. As of December 2023, Loungers operates 247 sites in England and Wales across three distinct but complementary brands, Lounge, Cosy Club and Brightside. The Group is now the only growing all-day operator of scale in the UK and has consistently outperformed the wider UK hospitality sector over the past three years.The sites are characterised by informal, unique interiors with an emphasis on a warm, comfortable atmosphere, often described as a ‘home-from-home’.Every Lounge offers all-day dining, with the same menu served from 9am and 10pm every day. Sales are well diversified across all day parts. In addition to helping to drive repeat custom and maximise the trading efficiency of the sites, the all-day offering involves managing operational complexity, particularly in the kitchens.

Through my time with the company, Stonegate grew from 333 venues to becoming the largest pub company in the UK, operating around 4,800 managed, leased and tenanted pubs.
