Role was to lead and manage all training activities on behalf of BiFab and their respective clients on the Beatrice Offshore Windfarm project. Ensuring new and existing legislation and policies were followed and to formulate a strategic plan to design and deliver compliance training packages in line with the company safe operating practices and needs. Operated as the single point of contact for all training needs for a workforce that was 1400+ personnel strong spread across three sites. (Methil and Burntisland in Fife and Arnish Point on the Isle of Lewis) Key Duties included: • Assurance to company and client stakeholders that all training was fit for purpose, aligned to the regulations and delivered in the appropriate format.• Management and supervision of all apprentice tradesmen.• Liaison to Fife Council, ensuring apprenticeship program was fully supported.• Author and delivery of bespoke compliance training courses rolled out business wide.• Successful delivery and acceptance of Training Needs Analysis.• Accountable for the standard of training to the required legislation and/or policy• Overall responsibility and accountability for developing and rolling out of the BiFab training service.• Analysing and capturing training metrics to ensure continuous improvement.• Procurement of external third party Training Solutions through business proposals.• Design and delivery of all new staff induction programmes.• Co-ordination and delivery of Face Fit testing across all sites.• Delivery of Forklift Training and Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training across all sites.• Design and delivery of behavioural safety and Incident and Injury Free workshops.
