I contributed dozens of sequences, and added comments, formulas, and cross-references to many dozens of other sequences.

Led a team of systems engineers who performed hardware and system software upgrades and maintenance on the IBM mainframe, AS/400, HP-UX, and AIX platforms, and associated tape and disk storage systems. Managed multi-million dollar overhead and capital budgets, negotiating hardware, software, and services contracts. Provided leadership and mentoring, evaluated employees and made personnel decisions.

Managed disk and tape storage for the mainframe. Converted from traditional to System Managed Storage (SMS).

Installed and customized MVS and all program products. Planned and led Data Center Move, from New York to Los Angeles.

Installed and maintained the MVS operating system and other system software on five IBM mainframes. Requires advanced knowledge of MVS internals, dumps and logs as well as network, channel and “Hyperchannel” internals, and assembly language coding.

Installed, upgraded, and maintained operating system software. At various times, responsible for one or more of the following systems: IMS/DC, VTAM, NCP, MVS, JES2 V1.3.4, DFP V1.2, and ISPF V2. Designed, coded, and implemented DADSM exits; reverse-engineered IMS/DC screen maps to recover lost source code.
