• Liaise between WHO- Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO) in Cairo and the Disease Control Priorities Network (DCPN) in Seattle. • Drafted and edited sections of the San José Progress Report on the implementation of the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM). • Liaised with country missions and Humanitarian Disarmament Partners to prepare for an African Regional Meeting to the CCM as well as for the Fifth Annual Meeting of States Parties (5MSP) to the CCM.• Traveled to Costa Rica and provided logistical support to facilitate the 5MSP in San José. • Managed large databases on substantive, technical, and administrative matters in preparation for the 5MSP to the CCM.• Provided logistical support to the Regional Review Conference of the Geneva Declaration on Armed Violence Reduction.• Interviewed officials and humanitarian actors across UN agencies and organizations on humanitarian reforms, coordination of aid via the cluster system, and challenges in delivering aid. • Created materials for the new UNDP training of Early Recovery Cluster Coordinators.
