Preparing and submitting funding proposals to the relevant authorities of the Greek State and the European Union (NSRF 2014-2020 etc.), advisor on issues of sustainable development, assistance with preparing and implementing business plans, monitoring project implementation.

The aim of the project was to develop a fully integrated plan for the implementation of the circular economy strategy at the island of Skyros. The project was conducted in two phases:Phase A:• The Principles of the Circular Economy• The current social, economic and environmental status of the Municipality of Skyros.Phase B:• Municipal Solid Waste & Wastewater sustainable management in view of the circular economy principles.• The business opportunities developed for the Municipality of Skyros.• The expected outcome of the project on the social and economic life of the residents of Skyros as well as on the environment.

The objective of the project was to develop an integrated plan for the environmental development of the island of Skyros. At first, the global and national environmental challenges are analyzed. These challenges concern, to a great extent, the Mediterranean as a whole. In the second section an analysis of the social, economic and environmental current situation of the island is pursued. Afterwards, the actions of the integrated environmental development of Skyros are fully described. The proposed plan is based on four main pillars. These pillars are: a) energy resources, b) management of materials, c) water management, and d) sustainable mobility. Finally, the potential impacts of climate change on the island are by and large identified.

"Valid for Europe E-learning Education in Sustainability – Waste Collection and Recycling of Plastics for the Environment Protection" (VEEES – WCR). The object of my work was the gathering of educational material, the participation in the textbook writing and in the creation of the presentations.

The second compulsory internship of the Mining and Metallurgical Engineering School was carried out at the organized waste management facility of Western Attica as part of the project for the construction of the first phase of the landfill of Fyli.
